ECG is used to examine whether the heart functions as it should, or to detect a possible connection between symptoms and heart function. ECG is the most common method to examine the functionality of the heart.
How is the examination performed?
An ECG is recorded while you lie down with electrodes placed on your body. The ECG shows the heart rate and detects possible signs of dysfunction. There is no discomfort in connection with the examination.
